We are seeking a Security Consulting Engineer to grow our technical team in the United States. This position is based in the financial district of New York City.


JOB DESCRIPTION:

You will be working as part of an international team, utilizing your customer relationship skills to promote implementation of new technology in the Information Security marketplace.
Your duties will include:

  • Professional services & consulting: assisting our customers on site and remotely with products installation and configuration, conducting knowledge transfer sessions and customer training;
  • Technical support: providing online and phone support to our customers (qualification and troubleshooting), providing second level of support for our local partners and resellers, working remotely with Paris-based R&D team to diagnose and develop solutions;
  • Pre-sales operations: product demonstrations and Proof of Concepts,
  • Up to 50% travel domestic and international.

TECHNICAL AND PERSONAL PROFILE


You have a passion to become an expert in the domains of Microsoft environments, Active Directory and LDAP directories and you are also familiar with web technology and virtualization technologies.

  • Technical skills required: Strong Windows administration and troubleshooting skills, knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory, Network administration skills (TCP/IP, DNS and DHCP), Information Security basics (cryptography, two factor authentications, regulatory compliance & audit).
  • Other technical skills expected: virtualization solutions (Citrix, VMware, V-Sphere), programming skills (C++, Java, VBScript, PowerShell, PHP, .NET, XML, HTML, JavaScript) Master degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or equivalent.
  • Excellent interpersonal, writing and speaking skills are mandatory.
  • Professionalism, driven and enjoy working in a team environment (locally and remote) are fundamental qualities to succeed and grow within our organization.
  • This is a customer facing role and above all you must possess good listening and presentation skills.
  • Knowledge of the French language is a plus.
